Chick is entering her 48th year as a theatre professional. Her long and varied career includes
thirteen seasons with the Stratford Festival, including Tempest, Napoli Milionaria, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Beaux Stratagem, Grapes of Wrath, Little Years Noises Off, No Exit; four seasons at Theatre Plus Toronto, including Saint Joan, Burn This, Abundance, Holiday, Crimes of the Heart; six seasons at the Shaw Festival, including Cavalcade, Back to Methuselah, The Women, Marathon 33, Peter Pan, War and Peace, The Madness of George III, Dracula, Getting Married, The Ladykillers, Devil’s Disciple and Sherlock Holmes: The Raven’s Curse Chick has also done extensive work across Canada and internationally, including Tarragon Theatre, Nightwood Theatre, Young People’s Theatre, Royal Manitoba Theatre Centre, Grand Theatre, Neptune Theatre, Theatre New Brunswick, Sudbury Theatre Centre, Globe Theatre, Citadel Theatre, Westben Arts Festival Theatre, Actors Theatre of Louisville, Broadway. FILM/TELEVISION: most recently, Everything’s Going to Be Great with Brian Cranstan, Fairfield Road, Everything She Ever Wanted. TEACHING: twenty years in the Dan School of Drama and Music at Queen’s University. Chick was honoured to be the 2108 Recipient of CAEA’s Life Membership Award for her contribution to the Performing Arts in Canada. She lives on a farm in Warkworth, Ontario with husband Tom McCamus which they share with their beloved Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retrievers.
Tom McCamus
Tom has just returned from the Stratford Festival where he played Judge Brack in ‘Hedda Gabler’ and Arthur Miller in ‘Salesman in China’. In his 17 seasons at the Stratford Festival and 10 seasons at the Shaw Festival and many years at various theatres across Canada, Tom has played such roles as Richard III, Coriolanus, Edmund Tyrone, MacHeath, King John, King Arthur, Brutus, Captain Hook, Aslan, Horace Vandergelder, Peter Pan, Androcles, King George III, Charles II, Hamlet, King Lear, Rhett Butler and Mozart.
In the Film and Television world Tom has appeared in: I love a Man in Uniform, The Sweet Hereafter, Long Days Journey into Night, Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen, Room, Orphan Black.
He is a winner of a Dora award, Genie award, Gemini Award and an Actra Award.
Tom lives on a farm in Warkworth with his wife Chick Reid and their dogs.
