Cycle with us—one of the most fun ways to get to Westben!

Meet us at the Canadian Tire parking lot in Campbellford (130 Grand Rd, Campbellford, ON K0L 1L0) at 4:30 pm and we will take the Trans Canada trail to Westben. Please note the trail has some sections with loose gravel. Therefore, a gravel, hybrid, or mountain bike would be the most comfortable ride. There are bike racks available at Westben to lock up your bike. Please bring your own lock. Please email ben@westben.ca with any questions.

Forest Bathing

Join hosts conservation biologist Ewa Bednarczuk and Indigenous poet Sarah Lewis from Curve Lake First Nation, for a guided nature walk and soothing Forest Bathing in the nearby Mary West Nature Reserve.

Pre-order a Westben picnic or bring your own to enjoy on the Meadow before a live concert featuring Susan Aglukark.

Dinner Buffet on the Meadow with Dockside Bistro

Stretch those muscles as it’s time for limbo, cornhole and much more right on the Westben meadow before delicious BBQ hamburgers, jerk chicken and salads by Chef Dorset from Caper’s Tap House. Local Focal Brewing Co. will be on tap with some of their favourite beers—all before an amazing concert on Willow Hill with Colin James.

Instant Choir with Kerri Ough

Come join this day-of drop-in, zero-pressure, h-fun “Instant Choir” on Willow Hill. No experience necessary, just bring your voice and willingness to sing with a group of like-hearted people. This Instant Choir will be led by Kerri Ough – best known as 1/3 of the JUNO award winning harmony trio the Good Lovelies - and has toured around the world singing in harmony with her bandmates and leading audiences in sing-a-longs for almost 20 years. Come join us for a guaranteed feel-good hour of singing in harmony!

Enjoy a pre-ordered Westben picnic with a crisp glass of wine or perhaps a non-alcoholic gin & tonic before revelling in the 2 pm performance of Toronto’s That Choir.

East Coast Kitchen Party

Between the Rowdymen Concerts

It’s a party! A good old Newfoundland Kitchen Party on Willow Hill between the two performances of The Rowdymen. Campbellford’s own Newfoundlander musician Ken Tizzard and Music for Goats will be there to share his stories and songs from his hometown of St. John’s along with Melissa Payne and friends. Sing along, relax and listen, get up and dance along to the music.

Chef Lisa will prepare a bountiful Kitchen Party Picnic, packed with East Coast flavors:

Molasses BBQ Pulled Pork: Served on a soft bun with a tangy coleslaw topping.

Salted Cod Chowder: A hearty, comforting classic straight from the shores of Newfoundland.

Sides: Sweet Corn on the Cob brushed with lime butter for a fresh twist.

Salads: Creamy New Potato Salad with dijon and crisp radishes + Fresh Greens drizzled with a maple syrup vinaigrette for a hint of sweetness.
