Annette Bauer is a multi-instrumentalist, improviser, and music educator with a background in early European and classical North Indian music styles. Her primary instruments are the sarode, a 24-stringed lute, and the many members of the recorder family. In combination with photography, she creates evocative soundscapes inspired by the natural world.
